THE CALM

The season begins with a crisp color story that eases out the summer heat and welcomes the first hints of fall. Hues of Clean Blue, Fresh Green, Citrus Orange and Poppy Red are grounded by Bright White and True Navy, reminiscent of the majestic horizon during the calm before a storm. Fall 2008 brings the introduction of Nautica’s new Cotton Twill Pant, the ideal basic bottom that can easily be paired with bold and refreshing pique and jersey striped knits. Additional wardrobe offerings include fresh looking poplin plaids that can be matched with a pair of great basic khaki pants. For a more casual option, Nautica debuts the solid pinpoint oxford, a new wardrobe staple that makes the perfect transition piece for summer into fall. The basic offerings in this collection can easily be mixed and matched, keeping any man feeling fresh and fashionable even when a chill begins to fill the air. 

DRESS BLUES

Dress Blues continues for fall with exciting new washes and bold new color offerings in various shades of blue. Nautica presents a new silk wash for wovens that is as appealing to the eye as it is to the hand. Each piece is as versatile as it is handsome. Redefined wovens and double mercerized knits continue to be the core of this collection while new pieces, like the update Navy Blazer and Fine Twill trouser, can be added to complete a classic look. 

THE TEMPEST

As warm colors in the sky slowly make way for deeper and richer tones, the Tempest is approaching. This neutral collection features a darker range of colors including Steel Grey, Black and Warm Brown accented with shades of Bright White. Graphic pieces, like Pinstripe Poplins, Graph Check Dobbys and Twill Ginghams round out this collection. To coincide with the drop in temperature, the first sweaters of the season make their debut in luxurious fine gauge cotton, silk and cashmere blends. Mercerized knits can be dressed up with a pair of beautiful new silk twill trousers and worn with ease during the warm days of Indian summer.

Imagine all of your favorite ‘go to’ pieces in one collection. All of those pieces that are just perfectly ‘worn in’, but not yet ‘worn out’.
